After ten years on Tour, Cristie continues her remarkable run as one of the world’s top female professional golfers. Starting the 2007 season with nine victories under her belt already, Cristie picked up her tenth victory and first major championship at the U.S. Women’s Open at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in North Carolina. To top off that excitement, Cristie and her teammates went on to successfully defend their title at the prestigious biennial Solheim Cup which was staged in Sweden this year.
Off the course, Cristie continues to make great strides in the fight against breast cancer. Following a successful charity poker event held in Scottsdale earlier this year, Cristie was able to donate $100,000 to Mayo Clinic Scottsdale to aid their research in finding a cure for breast cancer. Most recently, we are particularly excited about our new partnership with Susan G. Komen for a Cure, where Cristie will be the official spokesperson for Komen on the LPGA Tour and raise awareness and educate fans of all ages across the country about breast health and what we can do to help stop the disease.
Please come back to visit us often to learn more about what Cristie has been doing on and off the course and we hope that you will come join us as we join the march against breast cancer!
